Electrical Engineer - Energy & Utilities in one of the posting locations listed below. In this role you will assume multi-project responsibilities for full electrical design, including Power Distribution, Controls, Renewable Energy Systems, Medium Voltage Systems, Substations, Lighting and Communications for Oil & Gas, Industrial, Advanced Manufacturing and Renewable Energy markets.

• Candidate will actively engage in and assume responsibility for:
  • Code research and application
  • Fieldwork to ascertain existing conditions
  • Preliminary schematics through final designs
  • Calculations
  • Equipment specifications, sizing, and layout
  • Coordination with other production staff and other engineering disciplines
  • Preparation of accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications
  • Submittal review and construction administration
  • Power systems studies
• Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors; maintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality.
• Mentor designers and drafters.
• Reports to an engineering manager who provides mentoring and training opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

• Electrical engineer with 8-15 years of experience in technically complex system design.
• BS in Electrical Engineering. EIT designation required;
  Professional Engineer License (PE) preferred.
• Wide range of design experience, including industrial power distribution, controls and MV systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with others and work on multiple projects.
• Ability to solve complex power engineering problems.
• Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of codes and standards related to electrical power, including NEC, NESC, and applicable IEEE standards.
• Ability to pass background checks and willingness to comply with immunization requirements that clients may require to access facilities.
• Ability to complete occasional travel to client sites in support of projects.

• NCEES Record holder preferred.
• Knowledge of Navisworks software preferred.
• Knowledge of SKM Power Tools, Easy Power and/or ETAP preferred.

Salary Range: $96,000 to $130,000 (salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and by internal and external equity).
