Job Description:
As a Building Engineer with HVAC experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our commercial properties in Greenwood Village, CO. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair, maintenance, and optimization of building systems, with a focus on HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements of components as needed.Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify and address any issues or potential problems.Respond promptly to tenant requests and address any maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.Monitor building automation systems and adjust settings as necessary to optimize energy efficiency and comfort levels.Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance projects.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in the operation and maintenance of building systems.Assist with the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of equipment and reduce downtime.Participate in emergency response procedures and provide support during building emergencies or incidents.Stay informed about new developments and technologies in building systems and HVAC equipment to continuously improve efficiency and performance.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in HVAC systems preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance, with a focus on HVAC systems.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.If you are a motivated and skilled Building Engineer with HVAC experience looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in Greenwood Village, CO, we encourage you to apply.
