AI&T Technician Senior

York Space Systems LLC is looking for a Senior AI&T Technician to join their team.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm and every 6th Saturday.

• Inspect, assemble, integrate, and perform operational checkout of spacecraft flight hardware and associated equipment.
• Train other technicians, write test and operational procedures, and inspect flight hardware builds.
• Collaborate as a member of a close‑knit team and continuously pursue learning and improvement.

• Self‑starter with 12+ years of experience in aerospace/aviation operations.
• Experience with flight hardware in a manufacturing and production environment.
• Experience applying Lean manufacturing techniques.
• Experience fabricating flight and test harnessing.
• Experience inspecting, repairing, and building flight CCA’s.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3‑D models.
• Strong mechanical aptitude: use of hand tools and precision tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Pleas 50 lbs lift, climb ladders and stairs, and work in restrictive spaces.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain a Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.

• Installation and field modification of spacecraft Multi‑Layer Insulation (MLI) blankets.
• A&P license.
• IPC & J‑STD certifications.
• 2‑year technical degree.
• Space vehicle bus and/or payload integration experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with mixing/appling adhesives, epoxies, and coating materials.
• Forklift and overhead crane operations experience.
