We are seeking a proactive, growth-oriented Financial Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Financial Systems team. Under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of data analytics initiatives, optimize processes, and play a key role in shaping the future of financial insights across the organization. Ideal for a self-starter eager to expand their technical and analytical skill set, this position will focus on data manipulation, reporting automation, and model development using tools like SQL, Microsoft Access, Excel, and BI platforms.

Sr. Manager – Financial Systems

Contacts:
Internal staff, accountants, portfolio managers, executive staff, auditors, examiners, vendors, suppliers or service providers, limited member contact.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required;
Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, or Data Analytics preferred

Experience:

2+ years in systems, data analysis, or financial operations. Financial services experience preferred.

SQL
:
Confident writing and optimizing complex queries; able to merge data from disparate sources

Access
:
Comfortable designing and maintaining Access databases, forms, and reports

Excel
:
Advanced skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and data automation

Visualization Tools
:
Familiar with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik for building clear, engaging dashboards

Financial Tools
:
Exposure to Essbase, Hyperion, or related financial systems preferred

Ability to work independently, understand and carry out written and verbal directions.

Ability to actively listen and assimilate the needs of other employees, departments, and vendors, in person, by phone, or through written communication.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Provides a valuable and enjoyable experience to both internal customers and members during interactions. Consistently suggests ways to improve the member/customer experience through improved processes and technology.

Responds to various ad-hoc queries involving large (10,000+) data sets, often merging fields from several sources.

Maintains data sets to support Accounting, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product groups.

Develops and produces portfolio-level reports, BI dashboards, scorecards, and analyses to generate insights that inform and enable business strategies.

Performs analytics support for various product promotions.

Assists in the development of new concepts, methodologies, and techniques for financial and operational information analysis.

Develops, updates, and maintains departmental procedures.

Prepares special analyses at the request of management and other internal customers.

Regular and punctual attendance.

Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.
