Associate – Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence

OverviewWe are seeking an Associate to join a growing team in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Nashville, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. As an Associate, you will work on diverse transactions across manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services, healthcare, software & technology, energy and financial services.
Responsibilities- Assist with core financial due diligence, identifying key risks and evaluating transaction context.
- Analyze detailed financial statements and operational data to drive discussions with target management.
- Assess quality of target earnings, net assets and cash flows.
- Construct deal-oriented reports and presentations highlighting key findings.
- Participate in meetings with target management and client personnel; act as secondary point of contact for day‑to‑day execution matters.
- Build and maintain client relationships and support business development opportunities.
- 2-3 years audit experience at a top accounting firm; preferred 1 year in a financial accounting due diligence group.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related major.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in process of obtaining one.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills.
- Strong team member and independent contributor ability.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced settings.
Base salary $100,000 annually; discretionary bonus program based on performance.
