Responsibilities
  • Provide professional support throughout the full‑cycle recruitment process for Mortgage Banking Group.
  • Assist with recruitment, sourcing recommendations, interviewing, and final selection of retail mortgage loan originators and mortgage sales professionals.
  • Evaluate proposed offers and contribute to workforce planning activities, including reporting and strategy for hard‑to‑fill positions.
  • Coordinate diversity recruiting efforts and maintain appropriate candidate pipelines.
  • Build rapport with candidates and associates, treating others with respect and consideration.
  • Ensure current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies, including BSA and OFAC requirements.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources Management, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years recruiting retail mortgage loan originators and/or mortgage sales experience, including sourcing and interviewing.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with automated applicant‑tracking systems and internet‑based sourcing tools.
  • Experience developing a pipeline of candidates.
Desired Qualifications
  • Mortgage loan originator recruitment experience.
  • Prior mortgage sales or management experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate issues clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Creative problem‑solving and resourcefulness.
  • Professional and tactful interaction with others, treating all with respect.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple tasks and/or projects.
  • Ability to set expectations on delivery dates and milestones.
  • Interpret documents, policies, and procedures accurately.
  • Follow varied instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled formats.
