Radiation Therapist | PRN

The
** Radiation Therapist
** is responsible for performing the accurate delivery of prescribed ionizing therapeutic radiation under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist, using a variety of complex techniques and equipment. ##

* * Operation of the therapeutic equipment, proper patient positioning, monitoring of the patient during the procedure, and related clerical duties. ** Qualifications
* * Graduated from an accredited Radiation Therapy School.

Minimum ofsix (6) months’ experience as a staff therapist preferred; however, willing to train recent graduates.
** Key Competencies
** Excellent customer service skills. Current knowledge of appropriate clinical practice, radiation protection, and quality assurance.

Proficient knowledge of medical terminology.  Strong communication skills, both verbal & written.

Proficient computer software and database skills. Actual compensation offered to candidates is based on work experience, education, skill level, and geographic location. Compensation may vary depending on the state or region in which the position is located, in accordance with applicable laws.
