Global Medical Response (GMR) is proud to be an authorized provider of the DOD Skill Bridge program, offering Service Members the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience in the medical response industry through training and internships.
Under the Skill Bridge program, GMR hosts active-duty U.S. Military members for skilled employment training during the final six months of their active-duty obligated service. The Skill Bridge Program with GMR will run for up to 180-days.

Contracts Coordinator RoleThe Contracts Coordinator will support the Revenue Cycle Management team by acting as a liaison between AMR operations and AMR’s ambulance billing vendor. Normal activities will include processing rate increases, interpreting new and existing contracts and providing AMR operations and the ambulance billing vendor with the information needed to ensure all rate adjustments are processed timely and accurately. This individual will also be responsible for validating information contained in the contract database and billing system.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Review and interpret all Insurance and facility contracts for billing parameters
- Coordinate facility and Insurance contract set up between GMR operations and billing
- Coordinate contract and usual and customary rate (UCR) updates based on operational needs
- Schedule and host conference calls between GMR and external vendors
- One year experience in third party billing; knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations recommended.
- Experience related to contract billing/administration preferred.
- Understand and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Associates degree in Healthcare Administration, Management or Business Administration preferred.
- Understand rules/regulations of Medicare/Medicaid and other government payors as well as commercial insurers and specialty contracts to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment of claims.
- Comprehend and appropriately use medical insurance industry terminology.
- Fluent with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Hourly Compensation: $21/hr-$23/hr DOE
