A Client in Greenwood Village, CO is immediately seeking a passionate, results-driven Scrum Master to lead and support two Agile development teams. This individual will champion Agile values and best practices while driving delivery across cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate has deep experience in Scrum, excels at backlog management, facilitates high-performing teams, and thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Responsibilities- Serve as Scrum Master for two Agile teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Scrum Master will facilitate all standard Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Manage team backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners, ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized
- Track sprint progress and team velocity using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Version One)
- Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum best practices
- Identify and remove blockers to maintain sprint commitments and on-time delivery
- Act as liaison between teams and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and timelines
- As a Scrum Master, you will monitor sprint metrics to identify trends and proactively address performance issues
- Support Agile maturity across the organization by sharing learnings and driving adoption.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) required
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams
- Proven experience managing team backlogs, sprint planning, and cross-functional communication
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
- Proficient with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience leading distributed or remote teams
- Experience in telecom, enterprise systems, or fast-paced technology environments
- Familiarity with scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe)
- Background in software development, QA, or product management
