Job Description

Job Role: Business Continuity Professional

Duration: 14+ months

Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; certifications are preferred.
  • Conduct application and infrastructure impact and risk assessments of enterprise-wide or very complex IT systems.
  • Manage successful project delivery through disciplined project management processes.
  • Demonstrate highly effective communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation skills are mandatory.
  • Conduct comprehensive and strategic Application Impact Analysis (AIA) processes, templates, plans, and analysis.
  • Analyze cost/benefit/ROI/TCO dimensions of proposed disaster recovery alternatives.
  • Develop comprehensive and strategic business impact analysis (BIA) regarding disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP).
  • Possess advanced knowledge of policies, practices, and systems in regard to Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Planning, and Disaster Recovery.
  • Exhibit strong technical, business, and project management skills.
  • Develop advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Develop new processes and approaches based on professional principles and theories.
  • Be viewed as a functional expert in the field within KP.
  • Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
  • Engage in both customer and internal IT-facing activities.
  • Conduct high-quality and effective Application & Infrastructure impact/risk assessments through interviews, collaboration, workshops, and data analysis.
  • Document functional requirements, develop application impact analysis (AIA), and identify and develop options and recommendations for customers to reach their business objectives.

    Skills:
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
