API Quality Assurance; QA Test Lead - Greenwood Village, CO; Onsite

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated API Quality Assurance (QA) Test Lead to join our technology team in Greenwood Village, CO. As the QA Test Lead, you will take ownership of testing strategies and execution for a robust API-centric platform. You will work closely with development, Dev Ops, and product teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

• Lead and execute API testing strategies including functional, integration, performance, and property-based testing.

• Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement automated test frameworks and pipelines.

• Drive CI/CD pipeline testing and quality gates using Git Lab.

• Design and maintain test suites in Type Script, using tools like Vitest, Bun Test, and Fast-Check.

• Build comprehensive test coverage for Type Script APIs and services.

• Analyze, debug, and report issues across the tech stack including backend APIs and databases.

• Maintain test data and environments across different stages (Dev, QA, Staging).

• Collaborate cross-functionally to promote a culture of quality engineering and Dev Ops maturity.

• General

  • Proficient in Git for version control.

  • Strong knowledge of API development and testing practices.

  • Experience working with OAuth 2.0 and Bryte IQ.

  • Basic understanding of network technologies and CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab.

  Programming & Functional Skills

  • Strong expertise in Type Script , especially its type system, generic types, and type manipulation.

  • Basic understanding of functional programming paradigms.

  • Preferred:
    Familiarity with the Effect framework for managing side effects in Type Script.

  Database & ORM

  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs).

  • Experience working with AWS RDS (Postgre
    
    SQL) and Drizzle ORM.

  Testing Tools & Methodologies

  • Proficient with unit testing and property-based testing methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like:

    • Vitest

    • Bun Test

    • Fast-Check

  • Familiarity with test automation and CI tool integration.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

  • Familiarity with security testing and performance testing of APIs.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership qualities.
