Alvarez & Marsal (A &M) is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 professionals across 40+ countries. A&M’s Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) practice delivers data‑driven insights to support clients’ M&A, divestment, and investment strategies. We are looking for a Senior Director to lead high‑impact engagements and grow the GTA team.

• Lead client engagements across the investment lifecycle, from pre‑deal to post‑deal analysis.
• Manage and prioritize team responsibilities while collaborating with senior leadership across multiple deals.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide data‑enabled business, financial, and operational transparency.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, including recruiting, training, and teaching training classes.
• Maintain day‑to‑day client relationships, ensuring high‑level service and promoting A&M’s capabilities.
• Contribute to sales pursuits and expand TAG market share within existing clients.
• Identify and pursue referrals through industry conferences and client engagement.
• Manage engagement risk and address potential client or engagement issues.

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in data analytics or transaction services
• Buy‑side/vendor due diligence experience across industries; understanding of M&A/PE investment lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on data analytics skills:
  Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL, Alteryx, Tableau/Power BI, big‑data, and machine‑learning concepts.
• Excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into concise, client‑friendly language.
• Flexibility to work collaboratively as a team member or as an individual contributor.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
