We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a solid background in construction law.
Responsibilities- Managing all phases of the litigation process including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, settlements, trial, and appeal.
- Handling a variety of construction law matters including contract disputes, construction defects, delay claims, and other related issues.
- Providing legal counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and analysis.
- Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments.
- Collaborating with team members to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a litigation associate, ideally in construction law.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
- Thorough understanding of litigation process and court procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Professional demeanor and composure under pressure.
