Position Overview
The Manager, Operations and Lender Support is responsible for managing Origination Services, including call center, processing, underwriting, and administrative staff. The role involves implementing, developing, and administering processing guidelines for credit union partners using BPO programs. It includes providing training, coaching, career development, and performance evaluations. The manager will lead initiatives to enhance client engagement, meet performance metrics, and improve departmental efficiencies.
Additionally, resolving issues communicated by credit unions or dealerships and reporting department performance to the AVP of Operations are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage underwriting, processing, and related functions with sound analysis and judgment.
- Prepare and monitor departmental reporting and analytics.
- Oversee staff hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage staffing to ensure adequate coverage and meet business objectives.
- Ensure departmental adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Lead and support team meetings, coordinate staffing, and ensure effective communication.
- Maintain professional communication with stakeholders and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Recommend process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and revenue.
- Participate in new client onboarding, system testing, and implementation projects.
- Support and foster a positive team culture aligned with company values.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in automotive finance or related industry, with at least 3 years in management.
- Operational workflow and analysis experience.
- Knowledge of financial industry policies, consumer lending, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.

The salary range is $66,300 - $82,900 annually, with potential bonuses based on performance. This position is based in Irvine, CA, and may require travel within Origence markets.
