Job Summary

PRN Hospice Registered Nurse responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, recognizing standards of practice, and following the plan of care. Works collaboratively with team members to achieve positive patient outcomes, including specialized duties related to end‑of‑life care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow the plan of care, provide treatments, and work collaboratively with the team to meet positive patient care outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care as defined in the State Nurse Practice Act, including specialized duties related to end‑of‑life care.
  • Participate in coordination of hospice services and appropriately report identified needs to the interdisciplinary group.
  • Provide appropriate pain/symptom management.
Qualifications
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • (DL) Driver License
  • Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
  • 1 year of experience required
