Lead Software Engineer - C#​/.NET Core

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leading the development and implementation of sophisticated software applications using C#/.NET Core and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design, development, and an in-depth understanding of cloud services, particularly Azure. You will be at the forefront of creating innovative solutions, driving technical direction, and mentoring junior developers to foster a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions using C#/.NET Core and Azure.
• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and architectures to meet evolving business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices in software development and cloud deployment.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, adopting the latest technologies and methodologies to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure timely and successful delivery of software projects.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core development.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying applications on the Azure platform.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Dev Ops, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Excellent knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and strategically.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred, but not required)

• Certifications in Azure or related technologies.
• Experience with microservices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) for full-stack development capabilities.
