IT Applications Engineer V, Mobile – iOS and Android
Our client is seeking a skilled IT Applications Engineer V, Mobile to lead the development of high-performance iOS and Android applications. This role combines hands‑on engineering, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences across native platforms.
The role is mostly remote with 1 day onsite a week. Candidates must be located in Greenwood Village, Colorado OR Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain native mobile apps using Swift, Objective‑C, Kotlin, and Java.
- Apply clean architecture principles such as MVVM to create scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Develop automated UI tests using XCUITest and Espresso within CI/CD environments.
- Manage build and signing workflows, including provisioning profiles, certificates, and configuration schemes.
- Integrate third‑party SDKs, APIs, and services such as Firebase, analytics, and maps.
- Collaborate with design, product, QA, and Dev Ops to ensure seamless performance and usability.
- Implement content integration from CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager.
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to the overall architecture for mobile technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Six or more years of professional software development experience, including at least five years in mobile app development.
- Four years of experience in iOS development using Objective‑C or Swift.
- Two years of experience writing automated UI tests with XCUITest and Espresso.
- Three years of experience managing mobile build processes and configurations for iOS and Android.
- Strong background integrating APIs and third‑party SDKs.
- Experience with content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, app security, and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate effectively across teams.
Salary: $140K-$163K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
