Plant Manager – Automotive Warehousing

Location: Greenwood, IN

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at a high-volume automotive warehousing facility in Greenwood, IN. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a strong operations leader with proven automotive warehousing experience. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overall site performance, team leadership, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee all plant and warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory, logistics, and production support
• Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
• Ensure compliance with automotive customer requirements, internal standards, and OSHA regulations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using KPIs, Lean principles, and process optimization
• Manage labor planning, budgets, and operational performance metrics
• Partner with corporate leadership, customers, and suppliers to support business goals
• Foster a strong safety culture and accountability across the facility

• Previous Plant Manager or Operations Manager experience in automotive warehousing or automotive supply chain environments
• Strong knowledge of automotive logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations
• Proven ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or warehouse optimization initiatives
• Familiarity with Tier 1 or OEM automotive customer expectations
