We are looking for a Brake Press Operator to join our Greenwood, IN facility. You will set up and operate brake presses to form parts according to blueprint specifications and work instructions.

• Read and interpret blueprints and work operation sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed.
• Complete forming responsibilities, which may include offsets, large radii, and standard bends.
• Use inspection gauges such as calipers (both dial and vernier), micrometers, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks on parts as outlined by AQL and work instructions; report dimensional problems to supervisor or set‑up person.
• Maintain accurate counts of completed parts and scrapped parts.
• Complete production paperwork and make required entries into the company database.
• Maintain tools, measuring instruments, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Report all equipment problems or malfunctions to supervisor/manager immediately and maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine set‑up and operations to be formed.
• Ability to set up and operate a Brake Press machine and input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing System.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
