Job Description

Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights. Valle Vista Health System is a 132-bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Greenwood, IN. This is a temporary 13-week nursing position. The R.N. consults and coordinates with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The R.N. provides information on the disease process, medications, and ongoing care to patients. The position is responsible for monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in a patient’s condition.

Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.

NOTE:

Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible.

Hours:

7:00 pm to 7:30 am.

Conditions:

13-week duration. FT status – Must work 3–12 hour shifts per week to be eligible. Benefits are not available. Rate of Pay: $65.00 per hour.

Location:

898 East Main Street, Greenwood, 46143.

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Indiana (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Must have 1 year or more experience in a psych hospital setting.
