The freezer, cooler, and deli stocker role is a great way to start a fulfilling career at Sam’s Club. You’ll help keep shelves stocked and support the operations and sanitary conditions in our freezers and coolers, while providing customer service in the deli department to enhance the shopping experience.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly; follow company standard guidelines; and report unsafe situations to management.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns; zoning the area; receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up and cleaning displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; completing required audits and documentation; and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues while promoting products and services.
• Follow policies related to freezer/cooler areas by complying with food handling policies; operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment; following cold chain procedures; cleaning the area; and reporting issues to management.

• Ensure high-quality products are available and properly handled for members.
• Maintain cleanliness, temperature control, and accurate expiration dates; dispose of lesser-quality food products as needed.
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays; maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
