As a Security Officer – Tech Media Screener in Greenwood, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will help deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling access, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with individuals entering the location, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation while contributing to a secure and welcoming atmosphere.

• Greet and screen all individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site‑specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access to the premises.
• Follow established security‑related procedures and protocols tailored to a technology‑focused environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by answering questions and addressing concerns related to security‑related matters.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, security‑related incidents, or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
