Mills Sales​/AP Specialist

SUMMARY Audits and verifies compress bills, freight bills, invoices, and miscellaneous bills and posts to computer system;
Provides timely disbursement., proper allocation and accurate reporting of staplcotn/stapldiscount expenses payable REPORTS TOMill Sales/ Systems Accountant

Controller SUPERVISORY AUTHORITYNoneESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Examines, verifies, and balances invoices, bales invoiced, and sales accounts payable; enters data into computer system.

For balancing purposes, prints invoices and daily reports.

Invoices domestic sales and enters into computer system.

Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.

Analyzes, verifies and processes expense bills and accounts payable.

Enters and updates all warehouse tariffs in the I-series;

Sends letters to all warehouses annually requesting tariffs and charges.

Maintains accountability for CCC Loan Program bales and dollars.

Prepares month-end report for CCC Loan Program balance.

OTHER DUTIES Cross trains with other department personnel and lends assistance when required

Cooperates with all departments of staplcotn / Stapldiscount to ensure better service to company personnel KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent,plus two years college or business school

Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access programs

Ability to do detailed work accurately and exercise moderate independent judgement in matters which could impact the organizations effectiveness WORKING CONDITIONS Works within a confined office space in an environmentally controlled office.
