Machine Operator 2

OverviewThe Machine Operator 2 is responsible for operating production equipment and meeting area production goals.
Duties and Responsibilities- Set up and operate assigned equipment
- May use computer to load printer software
- Load/unload sealing and printing equipment with product and packaging material
- Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
- Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
- Work with Set Up Technician to resolve problems with equipment
- Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation
- Break down scrap packages
- Able to work effectively within small teams
- Accurately complete scrap tickets
- Accurately complete daily production sheet
- Accurately update hourly goal board
- Maintain production pace and standards
Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area - Practice 5
Ss
Skills and Abilities
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of machine operation experience
