Plant Finance Manager

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Plant Finance Manager. This role is based out of our Greenwood, SC location.

This position provides financial leadership to the site, serving as a business partner and change agent to drive plant continuous improvement actions and to achieve overall plant targets. The role connects finance processes with operations, providing guidance, driving actions, and financial insights to ensure operational strategies and decisions lead to the expected results.

Expected annual salary range: $113,000 - $165,000 per year.

• Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drive accountability for results and define key performance metrics together with business leaders.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision‑making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.
• Drive initiatives (including CAPEX and working capital) and influence changes to ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality and supply chain management.
• Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans.
• Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
• Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.
• Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost‑reduction while maintaining quality.
• Implement inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash.
• Build organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business.
• Lead the main financial processes for the site, including forecasts and profit plan.
• Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred by the site during its operations with the primary objective to provide valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance.
• Lead and support the finance and plant leadership teams through finance transformation.

Champion the finance culture change at the plant level, aiding the finance team to operate as business partners. In partnership with the transformation management office, review finance roles and responsibilities to determine plant‑level versus centralized responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five years of varied accounting/finance experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics.

• Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non‑financial professionals.
• Detail‑oriented with effective organization and time‑management skills.
• Highly motivated, analytical, and a self‑starter.
