The radiologic technologist performs radiographic examinations on IP, OP, and ECC patients. Exams are conducted according to radiologist-approved protocols. The technologist is responsible for obtaining and communicating accurate patient medical history related to the exam. Additional duties may be assigned as needed by supervision.
Requirements include being a Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT or registry eligible, SCRQSA Certification, current CPR certification, and meeting continuing education requirements.
