Valle Vista Health System (a UHS facility) has been providing high‑quality behavioral health care to the community since 1983. The 132‑bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, offers care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders for adults and patients as young as five years old. Programs include inpatient, outpatient and medication‑assisted treatment for adults and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents.

Position SummaryThe Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Floating Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical services for group participants. The therapist completes psychosocial assessment upon admission and is responsible for providing the clinical and case management services necessary throughout the treatment episode. Treatment planning and coordinating aftercare services are primary job responsibilities associated with this position. The IOP Therapist provides clinical services primarily in a group setting, either in person or through tele‑health modalities.

Work HoursMonday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with weekend rotation.
Requirements- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or other behavioral health clinical treatment.
- License: LMHC, LCSW or LMFT preferred; LSW or LMHCA required.
- Experience: One year experience in provision of mental health or chemical dependency therapy required.
- Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age.
