Emerald City Animal Hospital (ECAH) is a privately owned, small animal hospital located in Greenwood, SC. We are excited to be adding an Associate Veterinarian to our team and if you are looking for work/life balance, awesome support staff and a place where we enjoy working together…. Look no more! The perfect candidate would be a motivated Veterinarian with good medical, surgical and communication skills.

• Located in the Upstate, it’s easy to have an active outdoor lifestyle since there are several lakes in the area for boating, swimming, kayaking, camping and more. If you prefer, you could easily spend one weekend hiking in the mountains and the next going to the beach since both are just a few hours away. Enjoy living in the smaller, quieter city of Greenwood, SC but have the hustle and bustle of cities like Greenville, Columbia and Augusta nearby!
• At work, we have a friendly atmosphere and culture so we can enjoy each day doing what we love, taking care of animals and supporting their owners!
• 4-day Work Week with NO ON-CALL SHIFTS! Clinic hours are Mon - Fri from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We refer all after-hour emergencies to local e-clinics.
• Excellent equipment including up-to-date surgery suite, IM3 dental unit, dental xray, full Idexx in-house lab, digital x-ray, cold laser, ultrasound, tonopen and more!
• Ability to practice your own style of medical excellence as well as collaborating with colleagues.
• Excellent support staff, including 3 LVTs, that are all well trained and efficient in supporting you to allow you to focus on the patients and practicing medicine.

• Must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university
• Must be licensed, or able to obtain a license, in the state of South Carolina
• Must be compassionate with good medical, surgical, dental, and communication skills
• Must be willing to work pleasantly and professionally in a team environment with staff and Veterinarians
