Cafeteria Aide – Full-time – 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, Monday – Friday

General RequirementsSome dietary knowledge (food and nutrition) required.
Physical RequirementsExposure to heat. Ability to reach stored food for preparation.
Position Summary & PurposePrepares food and performs a variety of cafeteria duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Performs food preparation.
- Performs cooking.
- Assures all equipment and surroundings are sanitary.
- Uses equipment and appliances and reports any problems to supervisor.
- Helps individuals that are assigned to kitchen duty to perform their assigned tasks.
- Acts in the absence of the Cafeteria Supervisor.
- Attends initial Burton Center staff orientation, in‑services and workshops as appropriate to enhance job performance.
- Follows diets and menus as prescribed by dietitian, insuring proper serving portion size.
$13.50 per hour.
