Memorial UMC, N. Main Street, Greer, South Carolina is looking for an Office Manager. This is a part-time position Monday-Thursday 9am-2pm. The salary is $20,000. Please see the responsibilities below. Please send all inquiries to Mark Sullivan,

Specific Areas of Responsibility

Maintain a friendly, clean, and safe environment around the church office

Greet everyone with a smile, research questions posed by members, visitors, and vendors, and follow up with the answer or resource

Maintain all office communications through phone calls, emails, and mail. Take clear messages for staff with complete information, categorize calls and email all relevant staff members

Coordinate the completion of the weekly church bulletin for all worship services

Work with the Wedding Committee regarding dates, policies, and communication among all parties

Maintain the official church calendar by gathering event requests and confirm dates with the Pastor

Manage church mailings roster and distribution and mail the church bulletin upon request

Keep all office supplies stocked and order special items as needed

Contact and schedule all vendors for campus maintenance, events or emergencies

Work with the Business Manager and Pastor to administer the campus-wide access system

Assist the Pastor as requested in preparing reports, preparation and scheduling of meetings, research, and discussions to support church planning, partner coordination, congregation communication, special event or special worship service planning, church giving, mission and outreach, and other aspects of church operations and improvements.
