This person will help build and develop a high-performing engineering organization in a teaming-oriented manufacturing site centered on safety, quality, delivery, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Support and Leadership:
Oversees all engineering aspects of highly complex projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Serves as a mentor and trainer for engineers, technicians, and designers on advanced tasks and processes. May serve as a technical advisor.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
Identifies and resolves intricate technical problems within systems using comprehensive analytical methods and appropriate technologies.

Best Practices and Design Standards:
Leads the development and implementation of advanced design standards and innovative engineering strategies. Proactively drives best practices across departments.

Design, Testing, and Analysis:
Designs, tests, and analyzes high-complexity systems with site wide impact. Establishes department-wide standards for producibility, testability, maintainability, and reliability.

Process Improvement:
Leads initiatives to optimize processes at a department level. Proposes and executes significant process improvements with organization-wide benefits.
