Reporting to the Department Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day operations, including shipping, receiving, and all activities that keep goods moving efficiently in a fast‑paced distribution environment.

• Adhere to health‑and‑safety policies, good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure compliance with food quality and safety guidelines per Refresco, customers and governing bodies (e.g., SQF).
• Lead and direct work of other employees and exercise authority in hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
• Prioritize tasks and allocate the loading workforce to meet customer demands.
• Plan and execute logistics with trucking firms to ensure timely pick‑up and delivery while minimizing freight costs.
• Implement and enforce processes that maximize inventory consistency and accuracy.
• Resolve operational problems to minimize cost and prevent delays.
• Manage business metrics and budgets, including yield, labor efficiency and overhead expenses.
• Demonstrate leadership to maintain quality of work within the warehouse.
• Communicate expectations and goals throughout the warehouse environment.
• Investigate non‑compliance root causes and ensure adherence to OHSA and environmental regulations.
• Develop strategies focused on accident reduction, energy and waste minimization.
• Deploy human resources effectively and administer collective bargaining agreements, when applicable.
• Act as a certified forklift trainer.
• Support Department Manager duties as needed.
• Represent the company positively at all times.

• Read and write job instructions in the required language(s) for the location.
• Work effectively under deadline pressures.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and adaptable to change.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
• Demonstrate basic operation of powered industrial trucks and forklift certification through an approved Refresco trainer.
• Problem‑solving ability to quickly identify and resolve operational issues.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software, SAP, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Analyze data and process parameters to optimize production.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections for a safe working environment.
• Show proven leadership and ability to develop employees.

Minimum:
High School Certification or equivalent (GED). Undergraduate degree innogi­ral field is preferred.

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; food or beverage manufacturing preferred.

• Work schedule may include weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight, and holidays; overtime as needed.
• Fast‑paced production plant with many moving parts; hearing protection required; temperatures may be hot or cold.

• Rarely.

• Stand or sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; carry weight and lift at least 5 lbs.
• Walk, drive forklift, climb stairs/ladders, balance.
• Visual and sensory attention, coordination and dexterity, mental stress tolerance.
