Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Field Service Representative for our client in Greer, SC. Responsibilities:
Provide technical support (mechanical/electrical) via phone for our customers, resolving any issues they face.Collaborate closely with customers in North America to schedule equipment service and startup.Travel to customer sites across North America for mechanical and electrical servicing on existing equipment.Support customers on-site for the startup of new equipment, including:Checkout and functionality tests of Allen-Bradley (95%) and Siemens (5%) based PLC controls.Conduct operator and maintenance training sessions at customer locations.Promote aftermarket parts and services during visits to customer sites when necessary.Participate in annual training sessions in Germany to stay up-to-date with new developments and equipment.Assist in-house with customer trials, ensuring the success of new installations.Maintain and manage test equipment and contribute to general warehouse upkeep.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required (GED acceptable).Practical knowledge of Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs.Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues.Mechanical aptitude, with a solid understanding of basic mechanical and pneumatic operations.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.Ability to obtain a passport (required for international travel).Willingness to travel 35-40% within North America.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.Availability to work overtime as needed.What We Offer:A secure job with a successful, innovative, and medium-sized family business.A pleasant, supportive working environment and positive company culture.Diverse work areas, offering a variety of tasks and responsibilities.Opportunities for independent action and innovation.An international work environment with the use of future-oriented technologies.The ability to contribute and implement your own ideas.Extensive training and professional development opportunities.If you are looking to be part of an innovative company with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply.
