Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) position at The Carolina Center For Behavioral Health in Greenville, SC. The organization specializes in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments and serves the Greenville area.

• Administers patient medications prescribed by physician.
• Completes nursing assessment, updates treatment care plans, and participates in treatment planning.
• Helps maintain the therapeutic milieu on the unit, including facilitation of community meetings.
• Maintains patient, program, department and related documentation.
• Effectively manages psychiatric crisis emergency situations.

• Education:
  
  ADN or BSN in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Licensure:
  South Carolina registered nurse license with current registration required. Multi-state license with South Carolina included in the compact is acceptable.
• Experience:
  
  0-1 year required; 2-3 years of related experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness is preferred.
• Additional requirements:
  
  Successful completion of Aggressive Behavior Training (HWC) before unit orientation and prior to assisting with restraining procedures. CPR certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association prior to taking an independent patient assignment.

  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
