The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently hiring registered nurses to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Who We AreThe Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina Area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, we serve Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Programs are available at various levels of care to accommodate the severity of every patient’s condition: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment.

Job Duties
To provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
Essential Job Functions- Administers patient medications prescribed by physician.
- Completes nursing assessment, updates treatment care plans, and participates in treatment planning.
- Helps maintain the therapeutic milieu on the unit, including facilitation of community meetings.
- Maintains patient, program, department and related documentation.
- Effectively manages psychiatric crisis emergency situations.

Requirements:
Education: ADN or BSN in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required.
South Carolina registered nurse license with current registration required. Multi-state license with South Carolina included in the compact is also acceptable.
Experience: 0–1 year required. Two–three years of related experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness is preferred.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of Aggressive Behavior Training (HWC) before on-unit orientation and prior to assisting with restraining procedures. Successful certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association for CPR prior to taking an independent patient assignment.
Work Hours: Monday–Friday 8–5
