Job Overview

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) leads the operation of Burger King restaurants, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness while overseeing a team of managers and staff.

• (P&L) Hit your sales and profit budget every period.
• (Systems) Execute accurate projections and schedules while working all shifts.
• (Safety) Maintain a safe and clean restaurant.
• (People) Hire and train service‑obsessed crew and shift leaders.
• (Accounting) Tight restaurant controls.

• Ensure team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests.
• Hire, train and coach the restaurant team.
• Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a high‑quality restaurant, especially accurate projections and great schedules.
• Implement restaurant controls, especially cash & inventory.
• Maintain frequent contact with the public, business, and community organizations to develop and improve the restaurant’s public relations.
• Meet standards for speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness.
• Demonstrate strong critical‑thinking skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure all equipment is clean and maintained.
• Work all shifts each week, including at least one full weekend per period.
• Follow all government regulations, employment law, food safety, operation policies, and cash policies, implementing all accounting controls.
• Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits, and behaviors.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management about plans, progress, and problems.
• Successfully implement all marketing promotions.
• Participate in the implementation of company policies, standards, training, and management development.
• Train and develop the capabilities of Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees in management skills and technical knowledge to provide for growth.

• 3–5 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high‑volume setting.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Serv Safe certification preferred.
