The Direct Sales Agent Specialist in Direct Auto Insurance is responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers' needs. They build rapport and trust, attract and generate new customers, cross‑sell existing customers, and maintain a book of business within the market/retail location. Sales include walk‑in customers, marketing calls, and in‑person visits to build community relationships.

• 0 – 2 years of experience
• P&C licensing (preferred) or must obtain licensure within 90 days of joining

• Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
• Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross‑sell / retention of customers.
• Leverages community contacts (natural market) to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in their own community.
• Initiates outbound calling to an established target customer base for product offerings.
• Monitors key competitors in the local market area and makes suggestions to improve the company's position.
• Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
• Delivers optimal results within appropriate metrics, including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, including compliance with all rules, procedures, and standards.
• Understands, promotes, and remains current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures.
• Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies reports of receipts for cash drawers.

• Base compensation: $20.00 per hour
• Total compensation may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.
