** The Temporary Business Continuity Support Specialist (Customer Service) will support day-to-day customer service and order management activities during a major business transformation programme. The role is designed to maintain business continuity, ensure a high level of customer service, and free up capacity within the existing Customer Service team to focus on ERP transformation, testing, process validation, and change management activities.

The successful candidate will provide operational support across order management, customer communications, shipment coordination, and issue resolution while working closely with Sales, Operations, Planning, Finance, and other internal teams.

* ** Temporary Business Continuity Support Specialist****, you’ll support HID’s success by:
** 1-Customer Support & Communication
* Serve as point of contact for customers regarding orders, deliveries, shipments, and general inquiries
* Ensure timely and professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders
* Follow up on customer requests and provide regular updates on order status and delivery commitments
* Escalate customer concerns when required to ensure timely resolution
* Support sample requests and coordinate shipments with internal teams2-Order Management & Operational Support
* Manage order entry, order maintenance, confirmations, and customer requests in ERP systems
* Monitor open orders and proactively follow up on supply, shipment, or delivery issues
* Coordinate with Planning, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth order fulfilment
* Support customer shipment requests, delivery schedule changes, and order prioritisation activities
* Process and coordinate Return Material Authorisation (RMA) requests
* Assist with backlog management and customer order follow-up activities
* Review and monitor customer credit holds in collaboration with Finance to minimise shipment delays3-Cross-Functional Coordination
* Work closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Finance teams to resolve customer issues
* Support the Customer Service team in managing workload peaks and daily operational activities
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer orders and transactions4-Business Continuity Support
