In the mechanics role, whether part‑time or full‑time

As a Transmission Technician, your day begins with a thorough review of the vehicles scheduled for service. You start by diagnosing transmission issues using a combination of visual inspections, diagnostic tools, and test drives to pinpoint the problem. Once identified, you get to work repairing or replacing faulty components such as gears, clutches, seals, or electronic sensors. Between repairs, you handle routine maintenance tasks like fluid changes, filter replacements, and necessary adjustments to keep transmissions running smoothly.

• Experience working on automotive vehicles
