Responsibilities- Arrive on time and adhere to clock‑in/out procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance with clean uniform and slip‑resistant shoes.
- Collaborate with team members, assist guests, and support leadership to promote a positive work environment.
- Follow hygiene and food safety protocols, including frequent handwashing.
- Report illness promptly and notify management if unable to work a scheduled shift.
- Assist guests at the front counter and drive‑thru, taking accurate orders with personalized recommendations.
- Address guest concerns promptly and elevate issues to management as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant and surrounding areas.
- Ask questions to identify guest needs and provide product recommendations.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations; use equipment correctly and responsibly.
- Wear a headset to streamline communication and ensure order accuracy.
- Perform janitorial duties in kitchen, storage, restrooms, dining, drive‑thru, and dumpster areas.
- Complete all assigned duties promptly and efficiently as directed by management.
- Ensure all orders follow company recipes and brand standards.
- Maintain well‑stocked workstations, properly portion items, and organize deliveries using FIFO.
- Follow company cash‑handling policies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- No prior experience required—many leaders began as team members.
- Experience with cash or POS is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cleanliness and safety standards is essential.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Obtain a Food Handlers permit within 2 weeks of hire.
- Complete all required training per local, state, and federal laws.
- Comply with minor work laws and provide work authorization within the first week of hire.
- Communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and management.
- Demonstrate the Cultural Foundations of Energy, Engagement, Empathy, and Execution.
Physical Requirements
The environment is fast‑paced and dynamic, requiring multitasking under pressure. The role involves standing, walking, and moving throughout the shift. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
