Position Summary:

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Lead Installation Technician to join our residential install team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to install heating and cooling systems in customers’ homes, ensuring top-quality workmanship, code compliance, and a smooth customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team to ensure compliance, codes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction is met with every job.
  • Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and ventilation systems.
  • Perform system change-outs and new installations according to design specifications and code.
  • Layout and fabricate ductwork, piping, and wiring as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with homeowners during the install process.
  • Ensure proper startup and testing of installed systems to verify performance and functionality.
  • Complete all installation documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including job sites and company vehicles.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, building codes, and manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred.
  • EPA 608 Certification preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, follow technical instructions, and use diagnostic tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and all weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or NATE certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly.
  • Stand, kneel, climb ladders, and use hand/power tools for extended periods.
  • Work in confined spaces and various indoor/outdoor environments.
