Lead Diesel Technician

An established construction company in greater Portland is seeking a Lead Mechanic/Maintenance Manager to service their fleet of heavy-duty vehicles/equipment and oversee shop operations five days a week. The role is suited for a highly experienced and energetic individual looking to take on a leadership position with a reputable company in the construction industry.

• Manage all aspects of maintenance and repair for heavy construction equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and procedures for equipment longevity.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies ensuring availability for repair work.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance and management.
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components and the functionality of heavy machinery.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team building and mentoring.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Competitive Base Salary from $100,000 - $130,000 DOE
