Solutions Architect

Picture a Solutions Architect role where Team Leadership expertise is the floor, not the ceiling, and Innovate Lab in Gresham, OR is building exactly that. The center of gravity here is ownership — $66,000 - $104,000 and a temporary schedule orbit it, and 1 years gets you in the door.

• Drive adoption of best practices in testing, security, and observability
• Own a technology service end to end, from C# schema to on-call rotation
• Translate the autonomy-driven Team Leadership outage into fixes that make the next Gresham launch dull
• Catch the Kotlin race conditions that only surface under Gresham peak traffic
• Keep Innovate Lab's REST API dependencies patched before the CVEs become incidents
• Write clean, well-tested code that scales with Innovate Lab's growing user base
• Harden Innovate Lab's Git auth so the OR audit comes back clean
• Wire gRPC APIs to Ruby on Rails consumers so data lands where Gresham teams expect it

• Fluency in MongoDB earned the hard way, not just from a tutorial
• Roughly 1+ years operating in a similar Solutions Architect position
• Familiarity with Innovate Lab-scale workflows, or the appetite to reach them
• Comfort with the temporary cadence of a Gresham-based operation
• Hands-on experience with modern MongoDB workflows and tooling

You can trace a lot of OR's technology momentum back to a hardworking little team called Innovate Lab in Gresham. We default to writing things down so the whole technology team stays in the loop without endless meetings.

For your 1 of REST API, expect $66,000 - $104,000, a mentor, a benefits package, and the room to grow on a flexible schedule.
