Job SummaryA Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor provides services to individuals needing social and human services in medical, mental health, public health and case management. Coordinates psychosocial community services under the direction of the Clinical Psychologist/Psychiatrist. Follows policies, procedures and protocols of practice, licensing and regulatory requirements. Responsible for implementing community educational programs, assessing problems and determining appropriate treatment and intervention methodologies.
Educationand Licensure
- Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
- License as LAPC/LPC/LMSW/LCSW in the state of employment.
- Experience with alcohol/drug populations.
- Familiarity with multicultural groups and work settings, as well as the chronically mentally ill.
