Phlebotomist Floater

Job Overview

At Lab Corp we help people live happy and healthy lives. As a Float Phlebotomist, you’ll gain experience working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics to provide vital health information.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, or previous phlebotomy experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Monday – Friday; scheduled hours vary between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm with rotating Saturdays.

Additional $1.00 /hr plus mileage reimbursement.
