Our client, a leader in laboratory testing and regulatory compliance, is seeking a Lab Tech Jr. to join their dedicated team. As a Lab Tech Jr., you will be an essential part of the laboratory operations supporting confirmatory testing and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy, which will enable you to thrive in this vital role.

Job Title: Lab Tech Jr.

Location:Gretna, LA

Pay Range: $17 to 19/ hr

What's the Job?

• Operate Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer and LC-MS/MS instruments for confirmatory testing.
• Perform quality control duties to ensure testing accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Follow SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and other regulatory standards for all non-negative test results.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
• Support the laboratory team in daily operations and documentation procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow strict regulatory guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
