Correct Health currently has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Psychiatrist in Gretna, LA !

The Psychiatrist participates in the clinical aspects of the patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Responsible for overall supervision of mental health services. Guiding the delivery of mental health service to the inmate population. Functions as a consultant to the Medical Director. Possesses knowledge and ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment.

Job Qualifications:

Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program. Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Psychiatry in the state of employment. Maintains American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certified. Corrections experience a plus.
