Shift: Days | 12-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting. This opportunity is ideal for an L&D RN who is clinically strong, confident in high-acuity environments, and values a well-supported, team-based unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Louisiana or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• BLS required
• ACLS and NRP required
• Ability to work confidently in an acute care L&D environment
