Operator Fixed Route

Transdev is actively hiring bus drivers for their fixed route transit service in Jefferson Parish, LA. We are looking for safe, friendly drivers to help passengers move around throughout Jefferson Parish using public transportation. • Starting hourly rate $22.29 (
  After 2 years $26.75,
  after 3 years top pay is $29.72)
• Vacation and sick time off

• Drive a transit bus and transport passengers around Jefferson Parish
• Greet passengers, ensure fare payment and maintain a safe environment
• Notify dispatch of any incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
• Other duties as required

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• A valid CDL Class B or higher driver's license with full passenger air brakes in good standing
• Must present an original Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) issued within the last 30 days
• Previous bus or heavy‑duty vehicle driving experience preferred
• Excellent customer and communication skills
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules
• Subject to DOT drug testing
• DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
