Dental Assistant Southern Oral Surgery Southern Oral Surgery is a busy patient focused oral surgery practice we are looking for an experienced chairside dental assistant who is interested in a surgical assistant role This position supports our oral surgeons during procedures and helps ensure a smooth efficient patient experience The role will work across both our Fayetteville and Griffin offices 874 Lanier Ave W 101 Fayetteville GA B West College Street Griffin GA 30224
Key qualificationsExperience as a chairside dental assistant
Current BLSCPR certification
Strong team player who works well with providers and front and back office staff
Comfortable in a fast paced clinical environment staying calm under pressure and anticipating the surgeons needs
Knowledge of sterilization OSHA and infection control standards
Strong patient communication skills including reassuring anxious patients and reviewing post op instructions
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work between the Fayetteville and Griffin offices
Preferred Experience assisting with sedation or anesthesia nitrous oxide or IV including patient monitoring
Familiarity with surgical setups for extractions implants and bone grafts
Radiography credentials as required by the Georgia Board of Dentistry
Experience with CBCT or panoramic imaging
Willingness to learn and grow into a surgical assisting role with training provided
Compensation Hourly pay based on experience 23 25hrFull time benefits include medical vision dental disability uniform allowance and time offFull Time Schedule Monday Thursday 830 400
